This song won the 33rd edition of the Sanremo Music Festival.[1][2] The victory was so unexpected that Rivale did not yet had an album ready for release and her record company WEA had produced only 3,000 copies of the single.[1]
The song has been described as "composed entirely with innovative synthetic textures that highlight Caribbean-tinged verses, that explodes into an anthem-style chorus, whose epic tones emerge through martial rhythms and the clever use of electric guitar".[1]
