Sathya Gnana Sabai (lit.'Hall of True Knowledge', Tamil: Cattiya ñāṉa capai), is a temple constructed in 1872 by saint Sri Raamalinga Swaamigal, also known as Vallalaar, in the town of Vadalur in Cuddalore district,[1]:53,66 In the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The temple is open to people of all castes except those who eat meat, who are allowed to worship only outside. Ramalinga wrote in detail about the pooja to be performed in Gnana Sabhai — visitors below 12 or above 72 years of age were expected to enter Gnana Sabhai and do poojas.[2][3]
