Sechu Tuan Nala Wildlife Sanctuary is a high-altitude protected area located in the Pangi Valley of Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, India. Established in 1974, it spans 390.29 km2, with elevations ranging from 2,550 to 6,072 meters.[1][2]
The sanctuary is characterized by its rugged terrain, deep gorges, and several permanent glaciers. It harbors diverse flora like Moist Alpine Scrub and medicinal herbs such as Ephedra gerardiana. The fauna include endangered species like the Snow Leopard, Himalayan Ibex, Himalayan Musk Deer, and the Himalayan Monal pheasant. [3][4][5]
