The attacks have led to widespread civillian injuries in Saudi Arabia with 73 or more civillians injured while no fatalities were immediatly reported.[2]
The attacks came after the Houthis alleged that Saudis had taken part in the counteroffensive by the Yemeni Government forces and struck a prison facility.[3]
The forces of the Saudi-led intervention in the Yemen declared the attacks 'sinful' and vowed of direct military retaliation against the Houthis with Major General Turki al Maliki saying that the Saudi Arabian forces will take 'firm action'.[4]
