Serebryano-Prudsky District (Russian: Серебряно-Прудский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-six in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 877.38 square kilometers (338.76 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Serebryanye Prudy.[1] Population: 25,843 (2010 Census);[3] 24,689(2002 census);[7] 24,415(1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Serebryanye Prudy accounts for 37.6% of the district's total population.[3]
