Shady Hanna

Shady Hanna is a Canadian cinematographer.[1][2] He is best known for his work on the documentary film Swan Song (2023).[3] In 2025, he was named one of the "Rising Stars of Cinematography" by the American Society of Cinematographers.[4]

Life and career
Hanna was born in Cairo, Egypt, and later settled in Toronto, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film production from York University.[5][6] He is a member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC).[7]
