Shambhunath Temple (Nepali language:शम्भुनाथ मन्दिर) is a Hindu temple in Eastern Nepal. The primary deity is Shiva. It is 500 m (0.31 mi) south of the East West Highway section of Shambhunath, Saptari, and draws Nepal and Indian pilgrims, especially in the first month of the Nepali Calendar, Baishakh when a month-long mela is observed.[1]

The Shivalinga was founded in Chandrabhoga Gadhi and has been kept in same place.[2][3] The temple was reconstructed in 1996. On the western side of the temple complex are ruins.[2]
