Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is an upcoming British stop motion animated comedy horror film directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker and written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow. Produced by Aardman, it is based on the television series Shaun the Sheep, itself a spin-off of the Wallace & Gromit short film A Close Shave (1995). It is the third film in the franchise following Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019). The plot follows Shaun attempting to save Halloween as a mad scientist until the Farmer is suddenly missing, while a beast wanders the woods.

Premise
During the leadup to Halloween in the Mossy Bottom farm, the Farmer accidentally destroys his sheep flock's pumpkin patch. Shaun becomes a mad scientist to fix the problem, but circumstances worsen subsequently; the Farmer goes missing and a wild beast is found roaming the woods of Mossingham.[2][3][4]
