Shosaku Yasumitsu (安光 将作, Yasumitsu Shōsaku; born 2 November 1999) is an American-Japanese professional footballer who plays as a left-back for J2 League club RB Omiya Ardija.[1]
He was born in New York City, due to his father's work. He spent his early years there until he was two years old.[2] During his secondary school and high school years, he was part of the JEF United Chiba. However, he did not make it to the first team and, after graduating from high school, he enrolled at Hosei University.[3]
In November 2021, it was announced that he had secured a place at Kataller Toyama for the 2022 season.[4]
On 23 December 2024, his permanent transfer to Omiya Ardija was announced.[5]
