Shreya Chilukuri

Shreya Chilukuri (1980s) is an Indian American who is the daughter of Scientists Krish Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri. She is the sister of Second Lady of the United States, Usha Vance and is the sister in law of Vice President of the United States, JD Vance.[1][2]

Early Life and Family
Shreya Chilukuri was born in the United States to Indian parents Krish and Laksmi Chilukuri who immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s or early 1980s. She grew up in San Diego, California in a Hindu household. Her parents emphasized education and traditional family values. She is the younger sister of Usha Vance.[3]
Career and Education
Shreya pursued a career in engineering and holds a senior role at a Dutch Semiconductor company. She studied mechanical engineering at Duke University in North California. Chilukuri also has a secondary major in classical civilizations. During her time at Duke University she served as a soccer coach. She also participated in the universities theater department.
Chilukuri had a brief fellowship in Germany.
Personal Life
Second Lady, Usha Vance has said that Shreya Vance prefers to stay out of the spotlight. She does have an Instagram account that has been set to private, with few followers which has highlighted her desire to stay out of public view.
