In 2024, the commune had a total population of 9,939 people living in 2,748 households. Females constituted 48.1% of the population. 78.6% of the population reported Amazigh (Berber) as their mother tongue, while Arabic was 20.8%. 42.2% were employed, with employment among men being 71% and women only 11.1%.^[1]
