Sigfried Piscator

Sigfried Piscator was born in Mainz, Germany in 1411 and ordained a priest in the Order of Preachers.^[1][2] On 7 Mar 1446, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Eugene IV as Auxiliary Bishop of Mainz and Titular Bishop of Cyrene.^[1] He resigned in Sep 1455.^[1] On 27 Mar 1462, he was again appointed as Auxiliary Bishop of Mainz during the papacy of Pope Pius II where he served until his death on 16 Oct 1473.^[1]
