Simon Cooper is a British banker. From 2016 to 2024 he was the chief executive officer of the Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking division of Standard Chartered, its largest global business with approximately USD12 billion in underlying operating income.[1] He also was CEO of the bank’s Europe and Americas region and chairman of the group’s global Diversity and Inclusion Council.[2][3]
Cooper previously spent 26-years at HSBC rising to chief executive of Global Commercial Banking.[4]
