Simon Mottram

Simon Mottram is one of the founders[1] and former Chief Executive of Rapha,[2] a sportswear and lifestyle brand focused on road bicycle racing, clothing and accessories.

Early career

Simon practiced as an accountant before making a switch into marketing. He worked for 15 years as a director of brand consultancy at Interbrand. Leveraging his background in accountancy, he focusing on brand valuation for consumer and luxury brands.[3][4] He founded Rapha in 2004 with creative director Luke Scheybeler.[5]

He is also qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse.[6]

Personal life

Simon lives in London with his wife and three children.[7]
