Skënder Anamali (5 May 1921 – 21 April 1996) was an Albanian archaeologist, historian and academic, regarded as one of the founders of Albanian archaeology and a leading scholar of late antiquity and the early Middle Ages in Albania. His research played a central role in the study of Illyrian continuity and the early medieval culture of the Albanians.[1][2]
