The Smith Point Formation is an Early Cambrian (c. Tommotian), fossil-rich, pink to brick red limestone formation cropping out in Newfoundland.[3]

Palaeontology
Its fossil assemblage includes trilobites, hyoliths, and microbialites (stromatolites/ oncolites).[3]
