Sofia Soboleva

Sofia Pavlovna Soboleva (Russian: София Павловна Соболева; 1840 – October 27, 1884) was a Russian writer who used the pseudonym V. Samoilovich (Russian: В. Самойлович).[1] Soboleva wrote many short stories and children's fiction throughout her lifetime, but her most influential short story is "Pros and Cons," which explores themes of women's emancipation and education.[2]
