Sonja Zhiyenbayeva (born July 02, 2006) is a Kazakh tennis player. She achieved career-high WTA rankings of 630 in singles and No. 467 in doubles.[1][2]

She played college tennis at Pepperdine University.[3]
Early life
Career
In September 2024, she won ITF W15 singles tournament in Madrid.[5]
In November 2025, she and American Savannah Broadushas won ITF W50 the women's doubles Final at the World Tennis Tour in Austin. Defeating American paring Victoria Osuigwe and Alana Smith. This is Zhiyenbayeva's first doubles title.[6]
In August 2026, she defeated Bulgarian Isabella Shinikova in three sets in the final of the ITF W75 event in Ourense, Spain.[7] She won the first major singles title of her career.
