Spanish television in Portugal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The reception of Spanish television in Portugal refers to the reception of terrestrial television signals reaching the Portuguese border via overspill. Such reception reached its apex in the 1980s in order to provide viewers an alternative to the two RTP channels, which were viewed by the population of the time as being somewhat unappealing and accused of being "his master's voice".[1]
