The company was formed in 2014 as a spin-out from the Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. The company's headquarters are located in Lausanne, Switzerland, with subsidiary in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
