Spodnja Slivnica (pronounced [ˈspóːdnja ˈslíːwnitsa]; in older sources also Dolenja Slivnica,[2] German: Unterschleinitz[2]) is a village south of Grosuplje in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[3]
The local church is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul and belongs to the Parish of Grosuplje. It dates to the second quarter of the 16th century.[4]
