Sporting Blood is a 1945 Australian radio serial by Bob MacKinnon about a jockey who returns from World War Two. It mentioned many famous Australian jockeys of the period including Darby Munro, Billy Cook, Ted Bartle, Maurice McCarten, George Price, and Lou Robertson.[2] MacKinnon had experience in the horse racing industry.[3]
