He made his debut in 2019 in the cult TV series Preacher, that being the first role he ever auditioned for.[4] He found success on 2023 by starring on Crazy Fun Park, an Australian comedy horror television series, with the show winning Most Outstanding Children's Programme at the 2023 TV Week Logie Awards,[5] also as secondary character Tom Watson on biopic True Spirit,[4] Clausen's first feature film.
Next year he was part of the cast of High Country, an aussie mystery drama series.[4]
On Sundance Film Festival 2026, Leviticus, a coming-of-age supernatural horror film, was released with him playing a major supporting role in it. He plays Ryan, a teenager forced to go through conversion therapy by the local church.[6][7]
HIs next role was a secondary character on Netflix blockbuster Thrash, where he plays Ron, a fostered boy that gets trapped on a flood along with his on-screen siblings Dee, Alyla Browne, and Will, Dante Ubaldi.[8]
