Stephenie Nicole Jones (born September 6, 1987) is an American songwriter and vocal producer based in Nashville, TN.[1] She has written songs performed by artists including Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez, BLɅϽKPIИK, Kelsea Ballerini, JADE, Florence + The Machine, Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Teddy Swims, Madi Diaz, and more.[2][3][4]

Career
Steph Jones recently co-wrote Sabrina Carpenter's 5× platinum song "Espresso", the lead single from her sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet, alongside co-writers Amy Allen and Julian Bunetta.[5] "Espresso" is nominated for both Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2025 Grammy's[6] and is Spotify's 3rd fastest song to hit 1 Billion streams.[7] It was Billboard's #1 Global Song of the Summer for 2024,[8] as well as reaching #1 on Pop Airplay and #3 on the Hot 100 Charts.[9] Steph Jones has co-written with Sabrina Carpenter over many albums, including songs "Nonsense",[10] "Bet U Wanna",[11] "Bad for Business"[12] and "Things I Wish You Said"[13] from Carpenter's fifth studio album, Emails I Can't Send, as well as "Sue Me",[14] "Buy Me Presents",[15] "Let Me Move You" (from the Netflix film Work It),[16] and more.
Jones also co-wrote Jade Thirwall's debut single "Angel Of My Dreams"[17] which charted Top 10 on UK Singles Chart.[18] Other notable works include Selena Gomez's "People You Know",[19] BLACKPINK's "Love to Hate Me",[20] Amber Mark's "Competition,"[21] Latto ft LU KALA "Lottery",[22] Teddy Swims "Growing Up is Getting Old",[23] and "Call Me Cruella" by Florence + The Machine (for Disney's GRAMMY-nominated Original Motion Picture soundtrack ‘Cruella’).[24]
