Stephanie Childress (born May 1999) is a Franco-British conductor. She is the Principal Guest Conductor for the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National Orchestra of Catalonia.

Childress was born in London to a non-musical family and began her career as a violinist.[1] She attended the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music and was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, eventually leading the orchestra in 2015.[2][3][4][5] She was a string finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition in 2016 and 2018.[6][7][8][9][10] She made her solo Proms debut in the summer of 2019.[11][12]

In 2018, she graduated from the University of Cambridge with a bachelor's degree in music.[13][14][15][16][17][18]
