Steven Nash Jackson (born March 15, 1982) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2009 and 2010.

A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Jackson attended Summerville High School. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 38th round of the 2000 MLB draft, but chose to attend Clemson University instead.[1] He pitched for Clemson for four years, going 19–8.[2] In 2001 and 2002, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[3][4][5]

Jackson was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 32nd round of the 2003 MLB draft but returned to Clemson for his senior year.[6][7] The Arizona Diamondbacks drafted him in the 10th round of the 2004 MLB draft and he signed.[8]
