Steven Alexander Smith (born April 12, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player. Standing at 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m),[1] he played both forward positions. He played college basketball for the La Salle Explorers.

Smith is a graduate of Northeast High School, and later La Salle University, where he won the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year twice, in 2005 and 2006.
