Production

Stiletto was written, produced, directed by, and stars Gigi Gustin, who developed the project based on aspects of her experiences as a former exotic dancer.[1][2] Gustin independently financed the film through earnings from her work and stated that she incorporated elements of her own experiences into the story.[3][4] She co-wrote the screenplay with Samuel Gonzalez Jr., who also served as director. Eli Roth produced the film through his production banner The Horror Section, which acquired U.S. distribution rights. The film also features Matthew Hersh as producer.[5][6][7] Stiletto marks one of the company's theatrical horror releases, including Roth's own Thanksgiving (2023), as well as projects such as The Faceless Lady (2023), the first scripted series released in vertical video format, and Clown in a Cornfield (2025).[8][9][10]

On June 24, 2026, The Horror Section announced that Stiletto would receive a theatrical release in the United States on October 30, 2026.[3][11]
