The Streamer Awards
Awards show dedicated to live streamers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Streamer Awards is an annual awards show dedicated to live streamers.[1][2] It was founded in 2022 by Twitch streamer QTCinderella to award and celebrate other streamers, primarily in the Twitch community.[3] Nominees are selected via an online vote by fans[4][5] and winners are then determined using a weighted combination of the online popular vote (70%) and panelist vote (30%).[6][7][8]

The trophy presented to award winners depicts a Peepo, a variation of Pepe the Frog.[13]

Streamer of the Year
The Sapphire Award
The Sapphire Award is for streamers who have succeeded "against the odds... in an industry where the top 97% of streamers are male, this award is dedicated to streamers who identify as female or a marginalized gender."[20] The name for this award comes from the gemstone itself, which forms rarely in the crust of the earth.
