Svenja Jungo (born 12 December 2004) is a Swiss freestyle wrestler.[1][2]

Career

Jungo received a development award from the Canton of Fribourg in 2024.[3] During her age-group career, Jungo won the bronze medal at the 2024 U20 World Wrestling Championships and the silver medal at the 2024 European U20 Wrestling Championships.[4]

At senior level, she placed 13th at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships.[5] In 2024, she won the gold medal at the 2024 World Military Wrestling Championships in Yerevan in the women's freestyle 50 kg event.[6] The same year, she also won the bronze medal at the World Juniors Championships and the silver medal at the European Juniors Championships.[7]

In 2025, Jungo placed fifth at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships and won the bronze medal at the 2025 World Military Wrestling Championships in Warendorf.[8][9]
