Sylvana Q. Sinha

For over a decade, Sinha worked primarily in international law and international development as a lawyer and foreign policy advisor.^[6] Her work included advising multinational entities and governmental clients on investments, disputes, and political, economic, and legal risks.^[7]

In 2014, Sinha founded Praava Health, a healthcare company in Bangladesh.^[8][9] Praava Health provides primary care, secondary care, diagnostic testing, imaging, and pharmacy services. The company introduced Bangladesh's first molecular cancer diagnostic laboratory and the country's first patient-facing mobile application, offering both in-clinic and virtual care.^[10][11]

Under her leadership as CEO, Praava Health grew to serve over 500,000 patients by 2023.^[12] In March 2025, Sinha transitioned from CEO to Chair of the Board.^[13] The company's business model has been studied by institutions such as Harvard Business School^[14] and the Gates Foundation.^[15]

Sinha is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.^[16] She serves on the board of PATH, where she is also a member of the Board Audit and Risk Committee.^[17] She is a member of the Wellesley College Albright Ambassadors Council^[18] and of the World Economic Forum's Universal Health Coverage 2030 Private Sector Constituency.^[19] She is a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School.^[20]
