Syugut (Russian: Сюгут) is a rural locality (a selo) in Tsakhurskoye Rural Settlement, Rutulsky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. Population: 167(2010 census);[2] 117(2002 census);[3] 77(1989 Soviet census).[4] There is 1 street.[5]

Geography

Syugut is located on the Samur river, 38 km northwest of Rutul (the district's administrative centre) by road. Muslakh and Tsakhur are the nearest rural localities.[6]
