Szelonka (German: Neuvorwerk)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland.[2] It is situated in the historical region of Prudnik Land.[3] The village is uninhabited.[4]
The village was known as Neuvorwerk in German.[1] The name Szelonka was derived from a Silesian word szelōntać (to shake).[5]
