I also think this should be added, but there seem to be some global consensus not to add assists as it may not be correct data, since different organisations count assists differently, and some are not meticulously gathered. As there has been some dispute between myself and others on here, should caretakers who are only in charge for one game be listed in managerial changes, especially after the permanent manager has already been confirmed? I understand for example, Ruud van Nistelrooy's spell at Manchester United, because he was in charge for a number of weeks, and any caretaker/interim who is in charge for a substantial amount of time (number of weeks, a month) should be there, but one game I think is pushing it too far, and not overly relevant to the season in general. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.41.21.94 (talk) 19:23, 23 December 2024 (UTC)

Since Chelsea won the UECL, and as stated in the UEFA pathway—UECL winners receive direct entry into the league stage of the 2025–26 UEL season—shouldn't Brighton qualify for the UECL play-off round instead of Nottingham Forest? Chelsea has already secured a place in the UCL through their league position, so that Europa League berth should logically be passed down to the 7th best (Nottingham Forest), which in turn would allow the 8th best team (Brighton) to enter the UECL play-off round next season. Am I right?

No, that EL berth disappears: it has been covered extensively in media articles. The only way that 8th could have qualified was if Chelsea won and they or Newcastle finished 7th. Spike 'em (talk) 17:02, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

The winners of the Conference League qualify for the Europa League. However, if Enzo Maresca’s team win in Wroclaw and finish in the top five they will take their place in the Champions League and no other Premier League team will get their Europa League spot. But should Chelsea win the Conference League and finish sixth, with Newcastle finishing seventh....the team finishing eighth in the Premier League would then qualify for the Conference League....Should Chelsea win the Conference League and finish seventh... the team in eighth would qualify for the Conference League.
