Page Notice

I noticed the page notice was created by Daniel Case in 2010 and I can only imagine the need back then with trying to maintain reliable sources on here due to the article's unique history. However, we have better tools in place such as requesting page protection to maintain articles if there are disputes. Should the page notice be removed? I think a lot of urban legends have been toned down now especially with the Class Action Park documentary. Thoughts? – The Grid (talk) 21:20, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Yeah I don't think the notice is needed anymore. There isn't really any adding to the page that requires it and everything else and even what the notice is advising is covered in Wikipedia policies and Manual of Styles. NZFC(talk)(cont) 21:35, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Fine if we want to do that. At the time a lot more unsourced stuff was likely to be added. I mean, protection was available then, too, but we just didn't use it (and TBH the way things have gone since then have actually suggested I was maybe worrying too much). I remember reading this article a while back. I can't remember if it was from digg back in the day or reddit. I think the Page Notice was sufficient back then as it seemed a lot of people wanted to share their experience on here. I don't think it was worrying too much. – The Grid (talk) 14:03, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
The Page Notice has been removed. – The Grid (talk) 18:48, 12 September 2020 (UTC)

"Landing at the end of a waterslide"? What does this supposedly show, and why is it important? 38.73.253.217 (talk) 06:58, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Someone apparently thought the article needed a whole bunch of their old family photos, which I wouldn't disagree with given the paucity of images it had beforehand. We could probably lose that one, though. Daniel Case (talk) 07:11, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
Yeah. I'm gonna 86 it. Thanks. 38.73.253.217 (talk) 08:47, 25 January 2022 (UTC)

Missing word?

From the Alpine Slide section, "... Larsson's mother and brother said his employment had ended prior to the accident, accusing park management of using his previous [there's something missing here] to get out of having to report the death...." Joyous! Noise! 22:41, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
