Where are the people?
Looking through other countries pages, in comparison here I could not really find photos of the ordinary people but a bunch of buildings. Can someone upload some more relevant photos to show the general population? Wiki-tom76 (talk) 11:23, 9 August 2025 (UTC)

Hi Cristiano Tomás, can you elaborate as to why you don't think it was an improvement? There's already too many long images in the History section (in desktop that's made worse by the lengthy infobox), so I removed a couple that didn't really serve any educational purpose (WP:IMAGEUSE) and added a map of the region c. 1550.
- File:Jean Roy de Congo.jpg is a drawing of a 15th-century Kongo king, by a foreign artist in the late-18th century. Likely to be an innacurate/fictional representation due to the time gap. The commons file doesn't give a page so I can't verify it
- File:Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Kongo.jpg is a coat of arms given to Kongo by Portugal, too trivial for this page, but a better fit for Kingdom of Kongo. The file is also unsourced/unverifiable as the link is broken
- File:Cadornega.jpg is the front page of a 17th century book about Angolan history, what purpose does that serve? This is Angolan history, not Angolan historiography
- I left the 1755 depiction of Luanda in because it seemed relevant enough to the topic, ie. the actual' history of angola', rather than just 'Portuguese history in Angola'
