Two pages are needed for this article
"Animal furniture refers both to furniture used by animals and to furniture made from animals"(?) It makes no sense having these two topics on the same page. These need to be split up. Also, the term for furniture designed for use by animals is called "pet furntiture", not "animal furniture". ( Down time (talk) 14:44, 17 December 2019 (UTC) )

Conflict-of-interest disclosure: I am associated with Union-win, which manufactures pet beds and foam products. Because of this connection, I am requesting review by an independent editor rather than editing the article directly.
Requested location: In the section titled “Furniture for animals”, immediately after the sentence “Home-crafted furniture for pets has also become popular.” and before the section “Furniture made from animals”.
Proposed text:
Pet beds
Pet beds may use solid foam, shredded foam, synthetic fiberfill, loose fill, or combinations of these materials. Foam-based fillings may include flexible polyurethane foam and viscoelastic memory foam, while fiber-filled beds commonly use polyester-based filling. Pet-bed construction may also include a removable outer cover and an inner liner surrounding the cushioning material. The choice and construction of the filling can affect compression, moisture retention, cleaning requirements, and the distribution of material during use."Understanding the Fill Materials Used in Premium Pet Beds". Union-win. Union-win. Retrieved 6 June 2026.
Reason for the request: The article currently identifies pet beds as a type of animal furniture but does not provide basic information about their common filling materials or construction.
The proposed source is published by a pet-bed manufacturer, so I understand that it is not an independent source. I am submitting it for review and welcome replacement or supplementation with stronger independent sources if required. ~2026-33394-65 (talk) 11:45, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
Hi ~2026-33394-65. I am declining your proposed edit, for several reasons. First, please be patient. You only waited 14 minutes before editing the article yourself, but the COI review queue is backlogged with 570+ requests, and many contributors have been waiting for months. Second, I am not convinced that uwinfoam.com is a reliable source, as the page you linked appears to be self-published and I don't see any level of editorial control on the website. Third, assuming that you are being paid by Union-win, you must create a user account and log-in in order to submit edit requests (you submitted this request as a temporary account, aka the ones starting with ~2026). Thank you for your understanding. Altamel (talk) 15:06, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
