Cheese analogue → Cheese alternative – The article itself says "more widely known as cheese alternatives", so surely per WP:COMMONNAME the article should be called that too? But I figured I'd give chance for a discussion, since there could be good reasoning for the current name. Suntooooth, it/he (talk/contribs) 21:47, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Support as obvious and uncontroversial. Mast303 (talk) 00:42, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- Support per COMMONNAME (see Ngram) and because at least one source defines cheese analogue as a narrower subset of the the broader category of cheese substitutes or imitates whereas this article discusses the broad category. I'm not sure that this usage distinction is universal but I found a few other sources online that support a narrower meaning of cheese analogue. --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 01:22, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
