Hi. Please see WP:PAYWALL and WP:URLACCESS. In short, WP:VER expects that even a pay-walled or subscription-walled source is better than no source. If there is a concern, then you (or I) could consider adding {{subscription required}} at the end of the reference. Or |url-access=subscription within the {{cite web|}} tag. To clarify that they may not be universally accessible. But removing them entire would seem a retrograde step. Guliolopez (talk) 12:48, 1 December 2025 (UTC)
