DevelopayellidaeDevelopeaDevelopea – The name Developea is more popular as a rank, also, Developayellaceae is far more popular as a family name. See Adl et al., 2019, Cho et al., 2022, Weiler et al., 2020 and AlgaeBase. Jako96 (talk) 23:03, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Support. Although this is contrary to the usual practice of covering monotypic taxa in a single article titled at the lowest rank, in this case using Developea as the title seems like a good way to avoid having to choose between a botanical name (Developayellaceae) and a zoological name (Developayellidae).
