Le Maniel/ El Maniel is actually a very important page to Haitian history!
Hi! I saw this page was flagged for deletion and I really must disagree with that decision.
Le Maniel were probably the largest maroon community of Hispaniola, and contributed significantly to the shaping of the borders between Saint-Domingue and Santo Domingo.
I think this page needs a lot of work, but there are plenty of third party sources who write about Le Maniel.
