Hi Otherwise,

Here are the two edits both for the format of the date and an independent source to support the article

Independent source for Education figures:

• HapaKenya (independent Kenyan news outlet), August 2025:

"4,404 Wings to Fly & Elimu Scholars attend Equity Group Foundation's 16th Education Congress"

This independently confirms the following figures:

• Wings to Fly and Elimu cumulative beneficiaries: 60,009 scholars
• Equity Leaders Program scholars across the region: 29,515
• ELP scholars admitted to global universities: 1,098
• Paid internships facilitated: 9,700
• TVET scholars supported: 3,979

Proposed changes with corrected citations:

=== Overview section ===

Current text:

Through their Wings to Fly Program, Equity Group Foundation has been able to fund 37,009 students since inception.

Proposed text:

Through their Wings to Fly and Elimu programs, Equity Group Foundation has been able to fund 60,009 students since inception.

Please update the table figures as follows:

We acknowledge that the remaining programme tables (Enterprise

Development, Food & Agriculture, Health, Energy & Environment, and

Social Protection) currently rely on the company's investor booklet.

We are continuing to source independent coverage for those figures

and will submit a follow-up request once confirmed.

Hi, I just wanted to follow up politely on our resubmission from 16 April 2026, where we provided HapaKenya as an independent source

confirming the Wings to Fly and Elimu figures. Please let us know if you need any further information. Thank you for your patience. ~~~~ MtKenyaReader (talk) 12:33, 4 June 2026 (UTC)

When trying to access the HapaKenya website, my VPN's phishing protections are activated; consequently I'm not able to access the site. That security concern was also expressed through another check of the HapaKenya site performed by the SSL/TLS Trust (see my reply post below for additional information about this check). This is a follow-up to our earlier edit request covering the Education and Leadership Development table. This request covers the remaining five programme tables, each supported by independent third-party sources.

This is a resubmission of our earlier requests, with HapaKenya replaced entirely by The Star as the independent source, and all proposed text rewritten in neutral encyclopaedic language.
