Serbia and Yemen
Anyone has more information on arms shipments from Yemen and Serbia to Sudan? if so, please consider adding it to article, i think it would fit in the supplies for both sides section, considering that, from what ive seen, Serbia and Yemen have not declared support for either side explicitly and sold weapons to both parties. - Found atleast one article talking about Serbia. Then again the article only mentions Serbian arms being found in Sudan. I remember that mortar rounds from Bulgaria were in the possession of RSF but the rounds were from the UAE not Bulgaria so could this be the same situation? Brown caterpillar12 (talk) 07:32, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- Well, possibly, but i personally remember seeing something that Serbia was supplying RSF through the UAE, differently from Bulgaria where these rounds were possibly purchased before the Sudan war, i cant seem to find the article again though.
- Either way, i think its relevant to include what information we can about both these cases though. MySalsa22 (talk) 20:27, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- Another group i think could be included by the way is the Coalition of Patriots for Change, it has reportedly taken part in direct hostilities since August 2023 against the SAF, as well as providing routes for weapons/vehicles exports and mercenaries to the RSF. - I added CAR already to the map but I agree that we should write a paragraph on it too. I'm going to sleep but I found a few sources that seemed helpful
- -VOA
- -Small Arms Survey Pages 10
- - This is 2019 but Middle East Eye reported RSF troops selling weapons to CAR
- - ADF "Wagner fighters are sending weapons and reinforcements to the RSF though Um Dafuq." and "He has recruited fighters from the CAR and is in control the border at Um Dafuq."
- - UN page 8

- Didn't go to sleep yet but found this article https://www.bellingcat.com/news/2019/08/28/saudi-arabia-murky-european-weapons-transfers-to-janjaweed-successor-group/ it mentions Serbia selling arms to RSF Brown caterpillar12 (talk) 21:22, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
Ukraine suppling arms to the RSF
Why is Ukraine shown in the map to be supplying arms to the RSF? There seem to be no source provided for this within the article, and instead just mention of Ukraine supporting the SAF. If this is referring to indirect sales through third-parties, then surely other countries such as the UK and France should be shaded as well. Revertlayout (talk) 17:08, 12 May 2026 (UTC)
- It might be accident i don't really remember why I put it siding with the RSF. The map is not finished (for example China isn't on the map but is mentioned in the article). Other reason might be some countries like Libya and Somalia have supported both sides but I had to only choose one as my skills doesn't extend to coloring both colors in. Greece
What are your thoughts? I feel perhaps there can be more sections on this article page to include this, since Greece didn't provide the weapons, but they did allow for the export knowing it would enter Sudan and that it was Predator.
Would it be another section or subsection?
Something to keep in mind is in some cases, like in Canada, they hired a PR firm to sanitize the image of the RSF. This wouldn't be arm supply, but it would be foreign involvement. Fishestablishment (talk) 22:47, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- If Greece is involved in hiring this PR firm, i support adding to the relevant section, id rather not add too many subsections though, just add a new paragraph under the already existing section. MySalsa22 (talk) 13:15, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- Okay, so for the PR firm, it was actually Canada, not Greece. I agree to not add too many subsection since this would make it difficult to read. I will continue this in the other topic.

More sections and subsections?
This actually is related to the Greece topic, but are there other section names we can include on this page that captures foreign involvement that isn't just arms supply?
I am thinking of older Sudanese conflicts where the issue wasn't always about supplying arms. Examples would be:
- Foreign companies allowing military to use their airstrip - Foreign companies requesting the military for protection of their commodities https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Sudanese_Civil_War#Alleged_complicity_in_war_crimes
In the current civil war, I can think of a PR company involved in making RSF seem positive. It wouldn't be arms supply, but this would belong into this article page I think. Fishestablishment (talk) 23:07, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
- Maybe, though i am trying to keep the article mostly related to government-related support (greece, for an example, allowed the export of that software to RSF, so it wasnt just the company that was involved), though i think maybe changing the section name could work. MySalsa22 (talk) 13:13, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- So on this note, would the situation with PR firm involved in sanitizing the RSF's image be included? This was in Canada.
- The government didn't hire the firm, but Amnesty International did demand an investigation into the company due to possibility of gaining "military help".
- What I am trying to explain is would the lack of government action also be involvement since though the government itself is not involved, they are also not doing the investigation and are enabling Canadian companies to participate, which would mean involvement through ignorance.
- Let me know your thoughts, since I left the PR firm part under the Canada section out or if there are ideas for renaming the sections. Fishestablishment (talk) 01:04, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- it's similar to the issue with Canadian arms suppliers where the weapons are seen with the RSF soldiers, but no investigation on the government is conducted., but in this case, it is a PR firm.
- Fishestablishment (talk) 01:05, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- i support including the PR firm, however one thing id note is that ignorance isnt necessarily picking sides, the fact that the government has or not investigated this doesnt mean it is taking part directly, differently from other countries which directly supported the RSF or SAF (turkey, saudi arabia, iran, UAE, Russia, etc).
- MySalsa22 (talk) 14:56, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Let me update the Canada section with this information then. If I see anything similar happening in other countries, I will include it as well. That is a good distinction to make about ignorance not necessarily picking sides.
