The word "downtown" should be "downturn"
The following sentence is wrong: "According to those authors, while general economic trends can explain the emergence of the downtown, they fail to account for its severity and longevity", "downtown" should be "downturn" HanSoloQ (talk) 04:08, 28 November 2024 (UTC)

Prizes Be Damned: The Grapes of wrath overshadowing of more legitimate source novel.
Steinbeck's novel, which focuses on a poor family of sharecroppers forced from their home as drought, economic hardship, and changes in the agricultural industry occur during the Great Depression, drew significant inspiration from Whose Names Are Unknown, a novel by journalist Sanora Babb. Babb’s book, based on her firsthand observations of Dust Bowl migrants, was completed before The Grapes of Wrath but remained unpublished until 2004, in part due to Steinbeck’s overwhelming success with a similar narrative. 173.218.3.79 (talk) 00:17, 26 January 2025 (UTC)

This page is very inaccurate in terms of Germany depending on US for loans during the 1920’s. Germany was still paying off reputations from its involvement in WW1 to allied nations at the time including the US. Germany was in no position to get loans from a nation that is making them pay dues.
Whoever wrote that Germany was getting loans from the US isn't intelligent in terms of this subject. 72.240.146.243 (talk) 16:21, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. PianoDan (talk) 19:17, 12 February 2025 (UTC)

I am going to quick fail this nomination. The nominator is not a significant contributor to the article and the article has several uncited statements, including entire paragraphs. These should be resolved before this is nominated again. Z1720 (talk) 02:04, 8 October 2025 (UTC)

- I would gladly do this edit, but could you tell me why which article is linked with which template? Why is the main article Economic history of Japan and not Shōwa financial crisis? Or why aren't both together "see also"?
- I look forward to your reply. Thank you and happy editing,
