Medieval naming

The introduction says "When the Frankish Empire was divided among Charles the Great's heirs in 843, the eastern part became East Francia, and later Kingdom of Germany." I feel the last part should read later called The Kingdom of Germany. What people called The Kingdom of Germany was not a new entity it was a continuation of the state of East Frankia just with one name falling out of favor in preference to the other.
