The correct spelling of the movie is Zurawski vs. Texas. This editing is to correct a typo. ~2026-67793 (talk) 10:33, 4 January 2026 (UTC)

Edit request to opening sentence to Early Life

Propose changing the first line of Early Life section to accurately reflect her mother’s career and the fact that her mother, not her father, gave birth to her. Leading with the father instead of the mother after mention of a birth is an outdated patriarchal convention. Suggesting changing to: “ Jennifer Shrader Lawrence was born on August 15, 1990, in Indian Hills, Kentucky, to Karen (née Koch), founder of founder of Camp Hi-Ho in Simpsonville, and her husband Gary, a construction company owner.

Reference is https://styleblueprint.com/everyday/karen-lawrence-louisville/ an article in which Karen Koch Lawrence was directly interviewed, unlike the current three references will rely on minimal background information. Thejillbee (talk) 12:04, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

Opinions needed: merging rows in the "Year" column of the filmography table

In most high-profile filmography tables, the rows in the year column are merged when they're all the same year. Many people have implemented that here, all reverted by a single person, for over a decade. It feels like it's just one person's preference taking precedence over everyone else. Anyways, never mind all that, anyone can give their opinion, which do you prefer:

To say "most" sounds like a stretch (it might surprise you how many others don't implement them), and either way there is no benefit of using rowspans or "merged rows" in filmography tables. The practice of "merged rows" frankly is a needless mess that I wouldn't recommend enabling. Believe it or not, there have been countless times I've seen others remove them from tables on other articles, which to some extent gives the impression that "unmerged rows" option is preferable.
