London, KY Micropolitan Statistical Area → London micropolitan area, Kentucky – or London micropolitan statistical area, Kentucky, to choose a title better aligned with WP:USPLACE#Metropolitan areas ("[city name] metropolitan area, [state name]"), removal of postal-style abbreviation of the state name (which is exceedingly rare on Wikipedia, existing in less than 20 total article titles for US topics), and lowercasing (note that "statistical area" is more than twice as common on Wikipedia as "Statistical Area"). — BarrelProof (talk) 19:06, 3 September 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 14:12, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Further comment: This article might be about a topic that no longer exists, even though the opening sentence refers to it in the present tense. It says that this μSA consists of Laurel County, but if I understand correctly, the article about Corbin, Kentucky micropolitan area says that the London μSA was previously just Laurel County, but also says that the London μSA expanded in 2013 to also include Whitley County and Knox County and then expanded further in 2023 to include Clay County and was renamed to become the Corbin, Kentucky micropolitan area. I wonder if this article should just be deleted or merged into Corbin, Kentucky micropolitan area. Note also that Corbin, KY Micropolitan Statistical Area is another article that might be about a topic that no longer exists. It is a separate article from the Corbin, Kentucky micropolitan area article, and it says it is only Whitley County. London, Kentucky micropolitan area redirects to Corbin, Kentucky micropolitan area. And Corbin, KY mSA redirects to Whitley County, Kentucky. — BarrelProof (talk) 00:42, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. Woko Sapien (talk) 20:03, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
- Support move per nom. No opinion on merger/deletion. The article title should be updated per our normal conventions if kept. It may or may not be appropriate to have an article about a former µSA. --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 19:29, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
