Hello, I have a conflict of interest with this article as I am a member of the duo. I am requesting the following updates, all supported by independent reliable sources. I believe these are straightforward factual additions that bring the article up to date.
1. Update the opening paragraph to reflect the second ARIA nomination. Current text reads:
- "Mama Kin Spender is an Australian music duo made up of Mama Kin and Dingo Spender (Offcutts). They released their debut album Golden Magnetic in 2018 and it was nominated for the 2018 ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album."
Suggested replacement:
- "Mama Kin Spender is an Australian music duo made up of Mama Kin (Danielle Caruana) and Dingo Spender (Spender). They released their debut album Golden Magnetic in 2018, which was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album.[1] Their sophomore album Promises was released in August 2025 and debuted at number 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart.[2] Promises was also nominated for Best Blues and Roots Album at the 2025 ARIA Awards.[3]"
2. Add a "Career" or "History" section with the following sourced content:
- "The duo have performed at festivals including WOMADelaide, Woodford, Perth Festival, Darwin Festival and Vivid, and have toured across Australia, North America and Ireland.[4] In 2020, they released the EP Are You Listening?.[5]
- Their community singing project, Choir Camp, brings together local choirs to perform alongside the duo at concerts and festivals.[6]
- In February 2026, Mama Kin Spender premiered Promises & Wild Beasts, a theatrical adaptation of the Promises album directed by Craig Ilott, at Perth Festival.[7] The production sold out its run at The Embassy, Perth Town Hall.[8]"
3. Update the ARIA Awards table to add the 2025 nomination:

Source for the 2025 nomination: ABC News[3] and Variety Australia.[9]
4. Add Promises to the discography table with its chart peak and details:
- Released: 15 August 2025
- Label: Self-released / MGM
- Format: CD, LP, streaming, digital download
- ARIA peak: 20

- Hi, I've corrected the template on this request. Please know that it can take a while for COI requests to be addressed. ScrubbedFalcon (talk) 13:40, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
Partly done. I have implemented most of this request. Note that the artice had had an ARIA peak of 13, which I changed to 20 based on this page. Also, I was not able to find the details stated for Choir Camp in the source given, so I did not implement that part of the request. Fiske (talk) 15:58, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
