Because Memory conformity has existed longer than Memory Conformity, I propose that we have the discussion on that talk page Lova Falk talk 15:07, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

We are three students from a Davidson College cognitive psychology class have taken on the subject of "Memory Conformity" for a Wikipedia group project.

Merge Memory conformity into Memory Conformity

First, after seeing the suggestion to merge the "Memory Conformity" and "Memory conformity" articles, we have decided that we can take it upon ourselves to complete this merge. After viewing both pages, we have decided that because the capital "C" article is the more developed, that we can take the information from the lowercase "c" article and put it into the "C" article. We are aware that the "c" article has been around longer, but we think it would be more logical to move the information from the shorter article into that of the larger article.

Expand section on influence of age

The section on memory conformity and age does a good job of discussing affects of old age and the necessity of memory conformity to overcome physical hearing deficits in hearing, but we are hoping to add more on memory conformity in adolescents and preschoolers.^[1][2]

Add to social anxiety section

We can discuss the affects of the balance between self confidence and perception of memory accuracy in self vs. other.^[3]

Expand and combine legal sections

We are also hoping to add the legal implications section by combining the specific cases put forth in the Memory conformity with the mechanisms f memory conformity as put forth in the capital “C” article. We also hope to add other famous examples of the legal implications of memory conformity and look into implications of witness interaction, and cross examination. ^{[4] [5] [6]}

Addition of section on Neuroanatomical affects

The Edelson article cited in the everyday implications section goes into further detail about the neuroanatomical mechanisms of memory conformity. ^[7]

Clarify post warning section

We are also hoping to clarify the post warning section. We think that the post warnings section should be changed to post-event information (if that is what post warnings are supposed to generally encompass). This can be broken down into post event information that reduces memory conformity, or post even information causes memory conformity.

Hi guys, please use the Memory conformity (Talk:Memory conformity) article. The wiki is case sensitive, so there were two articles created before. They've been merged to Memory conformity.Smallman12q (talk) 13:40, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
