Make Dragon IFV its own article

The Dragon is more of a different vehicle based on the same hull much like the Ajax is to the ASCOD or the LAV is to the Piranha 3. I suggest making the Dragon its own article as its an IFV and muddles the page of the Piranha V which APC with its addition in the "Aramament" and "Type" catagories NobuttoO (talk) 18:12, 14 February 2026 (UTC)

The Dragón already has a page in Spanish, so anyone can translate that into a separate page then add a link here to it. The Piranha V is not an APC by default configuration. Looking again at the original source and its attached pdf as well as the current GDELS website, the Piranha V is marketed as a wheeled multi-role armored fighting vehicle. Thus, it seems to be comparable to the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle but wheeled instead of tracked. So the armament should instead be separated by its configuration - APC, IFV, mortar carrier, and any future variants that might enter service. Alin2808 (talk) 18:50, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
Agreed APC was just it original configuration but Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle is more fitting description
Still suggest removing the Spain section and linking to a translated Dragon section as the VCR 8x8 is its own thing NobuttoO (talk) 19:41, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
Spain should remain as is, but when a separate article is available then it can be linked with the Template:Main within its section. Alin2808 (talk) 20:02, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
Ive added a derivatives page to match both "Mowag Piranha" and "ASCOD 2" standard for vehicles based on the same chasis while also linking directly to the native language articles in the main Template:Main for both the Dragon by TESS and Luchs 2 by Rheinmetall. Ontop of that I have added in the "Developed Into" sub-section in the info panel. This should keep this page in line with other similar vehicle pages NobuttoO (talk) 18:56, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

Piranha V 6×6 - Jamming vehicle dosent belong in operational history

Piranha V 6×6 - Jamming vehicle dosent belong under operational history as it a potential currently being talked about not operational use of the vehicle NobuttoO (talk) 18:17, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

New Table layout added for in operations

I have added a operator table simliar to the Leopard 2 main page which is a higher rated page and thus what a start article should aspire to be. The table makes variants used by X country much clearer and fall in line with other additions such as derivatives that i have made which creates more consistency NobuttoO (talk) 16:11, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
